Szechuan lovage

 

Characteristics

The rhizome of Szechuan lovage is the part used to compound medicine called “Szechuan lovage” The rhizomes are quite round, bulge node and short internode. When cutting all the lateral roots, it remains a rhizome with round like fist. The texture is rough and gnarled. The outer skin is burnt brown or yellowish brown. Its skin is coarse and wrinkled. It is dense and difficult to break, with broken marks.

Properties

It helps to relieve irregular menstruation symptoms, reduce symptoms of contraction and pain in the uterus and relieve dizziness and headache. If using in less amount, it can reduce the blood pressure. It is suitable for women, especially women after childbirth.
